Clipstar has announced it is to hire the services of a search engine optimisation (SEO) firm in order to boost and develop its online presence, it has been reported.
The company, which works to reward the participants of online user-generated videos, plans to award a $1 million (£493,000) prize soon and is to boost its search marketing and SEO efforts prior to that, Precision Marketing has noted.
It stated that digital agency
I Spy has been selected to boost Clipstar's pay-per-click marketing and its organic rankings within search engine results.
Managing director of I Spy Nick Jones told Precision Marketing he is excited about the campaign.
"Promoting a social networking site like Clipstar is a very unique task, not your everyday work," he added.
I Spy will not just work to increase Clipstar's online presence among English-speaking communities but will market the company in a number of different languages to invite the widest possible response to the campaign.
The company uses tactics such as link building and keyword analysis to enhance its clients' online presences.
