High street retailer Topshop has announced it has launched a new application targeting Facebook users.

The new Topshop Fashion Fix allows users to view new fashion through their social networking profile and then announce to their friends whether they "love it or lose it".

It allows groups of friends to share the latest styles, plan shopping trips and suggest outfits.

Topshop reports that its website uses emailed newsletters, two RSS fashion feeds, a desktop widget and podcasts to engage its young audience.

Its new application was created by Poke, the digital agency behind the TopGear Cool Wall for the website of the BBC show, described as the "perfect wall-based online social media car-comparison application".

Users choose cars and decide where they rank on the Cool Wall, comparing their opinions with their friends and Jeremy Clarkson's and the programme can create one-off challenges for users.
