Websites can benefit from SEO

Businesses have been told by web hosting group Fasthosts that by taking note of their website performance and making the relevant changes, they "can make a real fiscal impact".
Developing search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies and implementing optimised news feeds are two ways in which a company can boost its online profile.
Indeed, earlier this month DMNews reported that SEO is one of the key drivers of internet sales for ecommerce sites.
Moreover, chief marketing officer at Fasthosts Steve Holford said that all firms can benefit from "using simple statistics" that monitor website efficiencies.
His comments come after research from the organisation found that 43 per cent of businesses in the UK do not know whether their website is proving to be successful or not.
Additionally, 34 per cent of companies said they have not even considered checking how popular or effective their sites are.
Mr Holford remarked: "With increased visibility and sales from a successful website, a business owner will grow faith in online markets."
