New online marketing audience

Web marketing, communications and product design are all going to change in the near future due to women being stronger in business than they have been in years gone by.
That is the view of the strategy and insight director at The Future Laboratory consultancy, Chris Sanderson, who was speaking at last week's online marketing event ad:tech London.
Various web industry figures aired their opinions at the gathering in the capital and attendees were able to experience the type of technology that is employed in today's digital marketing world, as well as get involved in other workshops and discussion groups.
Mr Sanderson said: "At some point last year, the web ad industry turned female because there are now more female users online than men."
He added that with a greater female presence in business and women being "the major purchasers of consumables", change is imminent.
The ad:tech London conference was one of ten shows of its kind taking place in seven countries around the world this year.
