Using news and articles to capture an online audience share increases both traffic to a site and the credibility of the firm, an expert has commented.

Jeremy Long Chia Teik, writing for online resource GoodInternetMarketing.com, explained that well-written and informed articles can prove a person's expert status and help increase consumer trust.

Furthermore, by increasing the number of inbound links, marketing through news can move a website up in search engine rankings, meaning it is more visible to online consumers, he continued.

"Articles that are comprehensive, informative and interesting usually stimulate readers and capture their attention," the commentator added.

Recently, advice source Link Building Best Practices, run by search engine marketing firm Vertical Measures, commented that the success of article marketing relies on content being well-written and helpful to consumers.

It urged marketers to ensure such content offers people valuable information which introduces them to the firm's website as this can improve its online retail success.ADNFCR-1351-ID-18574035-ADNFCR
