Quality content 'builds links'

Good quality articles can build links and direct even more traffic to a website than the main search engines, an expert has claimed.
Jeffrey Smith of search engine optimisation (SEO) company
SEO Design Solutions made his comments via the
company blog, stating that "world-class content alone" is sufficient to build links to a site or blog through RSS feeds.
This is because professional editors, bloggers and other content creators are reporting on industry events and integrating it into their sites and news feeds, he continued.
"Webmasters know the value of fresh content and are constantly trolling article directories that offer RSS feeds for related content in their industry," Mr Smith explained.
Recently, online marketing firm
SEO Company Services commented via its blog that companies looking to boost their search engine position should ensure they only use original articles to avoid Google's duplicate content filter knocking their rankings down.
Furthermore, it urged marketers to be discerning when linking out to other content and websites and to only do so where it improves a site's own published information.
