Newsletters 'a useful marketing tool'

Newsletters can be a useful marketing tool for driving clients to a website, meaning marketing through news has "gained momentum" in recent years, an expert has commented.

Pattrick Jhonson, of search engine optimisation firm e.create, made his comments in an article for the American Chronicle.

He suggested that emailing company information to both existing and new clients can help build relationships with those consumers.

Firms should seek to provide their customers with information which is useful and striking, such as industry insights, Mr Jhonson continued.

"You must be regular in releasing these items to strengthen your hold on the internet market," he added.

Net design firm WebMarketingCourse.com suggests that companies which provide free advice can both gain consumer trust and build reputations as being credible and authoritative.

It states that once a firm has gained industry trust and respect, it can be easier to market its products or services.
