Content alone 'could be the future of SEO'

Using content to ensure a website achieves a high organic ranking is one of the best ways to achieve a strong online presence, it has been suggested.

An article published by website creator CodingFresh.com has remarked that portals such as Google "love" content and design their algorithms to ensure pages with lots of useful information score highly.

However, the firm predicted that the search engines will improve their ability to hunt out relevant pages as a result of developing tools such as Natural Language processing, which it asserts could improve the accuracy of search engines' results "tenfold".

In fact, the article forecast that natural content is likely to become the main focus of search engine optimisation (SEO) in the future.

Google offers advice to webmasters, noting that one way to boost a website's ranking is to fill the pages with useful information, which naturally uses the terms and phrases individuals are likely to search for.
