Google to offer RSS feeds for search results

Google has confirmed that it will soon start to offer RSS feeds for web search results.
A spokesperson from the company told online resource
Search Engine Land they could not go into details about the timescale of the scheme's rollout, they could "confirm the launch".
At present, Google Alerts offer email-only notifications on results from news, blogs, video, web and groups, the site explains, adding Google is currently the online major search engine company which does not offer RSS feeds of web search results.
The confirmation follows the publication of an article by sector commentator Amit Agarwal in the October 1st edition of the Wall Street Journal, in which he said: "In about a month, Google will begin delivering these alerts to users via feeds, as well as emails."
