Online news 'gathering pace'

The speed at which online news is created is "gathering pace every day", according to online marketing director at internet mail order firm Zoombits.co.uk Sam Tilston.
With website news appearing so quickly, the web expert claims it is important for Google to deliver live results.
His comments come as the search engine launched its live search facility this week, which sees messages left on microblogging website Twitter and other social networking portals appear in Google search results.
The idea behind the integration, which Facebook, MySpace and others are also involved in, is to ensure web users find real-time search results when they type in a keyword.
Explaining how Twitter can be used for successful search engine optimisation, Mr Tilston said: "Tweeting trends is important but, to optimise for Twitter, keywords and topics must be used that relate to the keyword you wish to optimise for."
In October, Google also launched its Social Search function, which allows its account holders to perform searches for information that has been generated by friends and contacts.
