Corporate blogs 'aid SEO'

Creating a corporate blog is a good way to boost a website's search engine optimisation (SEO), an expert has commented.

Nick Stamoulis, writing for Brick Marketing's blog, asserted that the benefits of an online business journal are "invaluable".

Such resources add fresh content to a website and encourage inbound links, both of which can boost SEO rankings, he explained.

However, Mr Stamoulis remarked that the main benefit of such a blog is the way it helps connect with consumers, which can build and strengthen working relationships.

"The dialog that can be established can lead to a real boost in brand or product awareness along with the development of a company’s reputation. Clever use of blog SEO ... can further that exposure," he added.

Earlier this year, Tracy Fredrychowski, writing for Sky Newswire, asserted that a blog was a useful tool for filling a website with keyword-rich content and relevant, interesting information.
