Fresh content for SEO 'should be consistent'

Online marketing professionals should ensure that all content they publish to their sites for
search engine optimisation (SEO) or social media purposes is as consistent as possible.
This is according to Adam Singer of the
Online Marketing Blog, who urged firms to engage in consistent content publishing without making sacrifices when it comes to quality to take advantage of potential extra "entry points" from search engine listings.
The key to this is agility, he said, recommending that companies think like a new media firm to ensure they are able to quickly adapt to the expanding social web.
"As the supply of content increases, the aggregate amount of attention available remains static, meaning the fight for attention is an aggressive, daily battle across the spectrum of niches," Mr Singer commented.
Businesses using
online news to enhance
SEO efforts should use
keywords in meta title tags and URLs and ensure all of their
news articles each have a unique URL, according to comments made by Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Land at the KDMC News Entrepreneur Boot Camp last month.
