Businesses wanting to optimise their websites for search engines should consider the services of a professional copywriter, an expert recommends.
Search engine optimisation (SEO) consultant David Michael makes his remarks to online resource
ecademy, noting many firms pay for top website design but fail to ensure their online content is of a similar standard.
He argues that in addition to SEO benefits, "good copy should help your website to produce better results and higher conversion rates, and will ensure your website does produce a better return on investment".
Furthermore, copywriters can be more aware of industry jargon and ensure the content is accessible to consumers and not just sector experts, Mr Michael adds.
Last month, industry commentator Sunita Biddu told
Promotion World one good way for firms to boost their optimisation efforts while engaging with consumers is to set up a corporate blog.
Through this platform, she explained, businesses can share tips, news and industry information, boosting rankings and encouraging visitors to return to a site.
