Yahoo! Web Analytics, described as a service which provides a "helpful feedback loop" for online marketers, has been launched.
In a post on the company' corporate blog, Jitendra Kavathekar, vice president of Yahoo! Web Analytics, explains the program - which is currently in beta format - is a result of the company purchasing IndexTools in May.
She states the resource provides "powerful data and insights reporting", which can help website owners to evaluate their marketing performance and optimise their websites.
Continuing, the Yahoo! representative explains the service has already begun to be rolled out to advertisers who seek the company's help to create custom micro-sites, as well as third-party application developers who use the firm's developer network.
Ms Kavathekar concludes: "Nothing is worse for site owners - and consumers - than bad marketing or a lousy user experience."
In other news, the company recently announced the launch of a new calendar, which it states incorporates a number of new web-based scheduling applications.
